The “14 Day guided tour of Ireland” is pretty much as described – a full tour around the entire island of Ireland. At 15 days (14 nights) you will experience the very best of what Ireland has to offer at a comfortable pace spending multiple nights in each of the areas that have the best content that will require multiple days to fully experience. You could spend a full month traveling around Ireland and not see everything but 15 days will ensure that you get all of the major famous excursion sites. (and some wonderful, out of the way, hidden gems!)

Day 1

Pick Up At Preferred Dublin Location (Airport Or Hotel)

Dublin Day Tour

(Depending on flight times) Morning visit to Malahide Castle and Kilmainham Jail followed by a Panoramic City Tour and time permitting, the Guinness Storehouse.

Overnight in Dublin.

Day 2

Travel to Cork

Our Day starts with a visit to the National Stud and Japanese Gardens, just 45 minutes from Dublin, this is a two for one deal with something for horse lovers and gardeners alike! Then it’s on for a visit to the stunningly beautiful Rock Of Cashel, before heading to Blarney Castle, the home of the famous Blarney Stone!

Day 3

Full day Cork Tour 

A morning Panoramic Cork city tour to include St Finbars Cathedral, English Market and Old City Jail would be a wonderful start to the day. Then it’s off to Cobh, (formerly known as Queenstown) which was the final departure point for the ill-fated Titanic. A visit to the Cobh Heritage Centre and the “Queenstown Story” exhibition is a must for anybody with an interest in Irish emigration and the story of the Titanic. A quick photo-stop at the fantastic St Colman’s Cathedral is recommended before heading to Midleton and the “Jameson Experience” at the Jameson Distillery before returning to Cork.

Day 4

Travel to Killarney  

Today is all about the scenery as we will take a full day traveling through West Cork and along the coastline and through the mountains before arriving in Kerry and finally Killarney. We will start by visiting Kinsale, a wonderful medieval port town, steeped in history. Then it’s on to the “Old Head” a picturesque peninsula with a great, restored watchtower – an ideal spot for a panoramic photo-stop. The sleepy village of Glengarriff at the mouth of the Beara Peninsula is our next stop with the option of a boat ride to Garinish Island (weather permitting). Halfway along the Beara Peninsula, we can veer off through the Healy Mountain Pass for what promises to be one of the best photo-stops of your entire Vacation! We then travel to Kenmare, renowned as one of the prettiest towns in Ireland, and finally, we arrive in Killarney.

Day 5

Ring Of Kerry

Full day Ring Of Kerry tour or “ Highlights Of The Ring Of Kerry” tour spending time at Torc Waterfall,  Muckross House and Gardens, and Ross Castle with the option of some free time for shopping in Killarney.

Day 6:

Travel to Dingle

Our first photo-stop today will be at the Aghadoe Heights – a panoramic view of the mountains and lakes of Killarney. Next stop – Inch Beach, with its miles of sandy beach and views of the mountains it’s definitely a must-see location! We continue our travels into Dingle, an ancient sea trading town. Possible stops here include (time permitting) Dingle Crystal, Dysart Museum, Dingle Distillery, followed by the Slea Head drive, one of the most beautiful coastal drives in the country, and a great example of the famous “Wild Atlantic Way”. Possible stops along the way would be Louis Mulcahy Pottery, The Blasket Centre, Clogher Head beach, Gallarus Oratory, and Kilmacedar Church.

Day 7:

Travel to Galway

Today we travel through Tralee and on to Adare for our first stop. This is a great photo-stop with a beautiful street lined with old-style thatched cottages, a castle, and numerous churches and abbeys. Bunratty Castle and Folk Park is the next possible visit with its 15th-century castle and authentic old folk park. The adjacent 400-year-old “Durty Nellies” bar would make a wonderful traditional Irish Pub lunch stop! After lunch, it’s off to the world-famous Cliffs Of Moher, the second most visited site in Ireland and a must-see location. Finally, the beautiful Coastal Drive to Galway will round off a great day!

Day 8:

Full-day Connemara Tour

Today, the day could begin with a short Panoramic Galway city driving tour before heading out to the mountains, lakes, and valleys that make Connemara so famous. The first stop is a quick photo-stop at the famous “Quiet Man Bridge”, made famous in John Ford’s 1952 Movie “The Quiet Man” starring John Wayne and Maureen O’ Hara. We then head out to the beautiful fishing villages of Roundstone and Ballyconneelly, with another photo-stop at Mannin Bay beach (a stunning, secluded coral beach) before stopping off at the old market town of Clifden for a traditional Irish Pub Lunch. After lunch, we pay a visit to Kylemore Abbey and Gardens before crossing the Inagh Valley and traveling back to Galway.

Day 9

Travel to Donegal

Today we head North towards Donegal. The first stop could be a quick photo stop at the spectacular Glencar Waterfall, One of the most beautiful cascading waterfalls in the country! Then a short drive and a coffee stop at Drumcliffe Cemetary – the final resting place of the famous Irish writer William Butler Yeats. The next stop is one of the most breathtaking photo opportunities along the Wild Atlantic WayMullaghmore. With the crashing waves against the backdrop of Classiebawn Castle, this will be one for the photo album! Further north, we can take a short detour and visit Belleek Pottery. We finish today’s travels in Donegal town.

Day 10

Tour Donegal Region

After breakfast today, we begin with a visit to Donegal Castle. Then it’s off for the rugged Donegal coastline for the drive northwest to Sliabh Liag – at 2100 feet above sea level, they are the highest sea cliffs in Europe – 3 times higher than the more famous Cliffs of Moher, and very few visitors! After a beautiful drive along the picturesque Glencolmcille, we return to Donegal to explore the town before dinner and retiring to your accommodation.

Day 11

Inishowen And Malin Head

The destination today is the City of Derry. We begin the day with a drive to Glenveagh National Park and Castle. Then we will head North through the rural Inishowen Peninsula to Malin Head – The Northernmost point in Ireland, and the Official endpoint of the Wild Atlantic Way. The final part of today’s drive takes us into Derry City.

Day 12

Giants Causeway and North Antrim Coastal Drive

Today we head for Belfast. Our first photo stop today could be Dunluce Castle. Then it’s off to Bushmills Whiskey Distillery there is an option of a tour here if clients are interested, but the architecture is wonderful so a photo here would be recommended at least. After this, it’s off to the world-renowned Giants Causeway – the highlight of today’s tour! We then take the awesome North Antrim Coastal drive with many photo opportunities along the way before arriving in Belfast for the first of 2 nights.

Day 13

Tour Belfast

After breakfast this morning, you could partake in the famous “Black Cab City Tour” of Belfast – a unique opportunity to tour around the major historical points in a London Cab, driven by a local Belfast guide. Then we go to the wonderful “Titanic Belfast”- an 8 story building built on the site of the construction of the famous ill-fated ship. If time allows, we could visit Belfast castle. Situated at an elevated position on Camp Hill, this Scottish Baronial-style castle is a great photo opportunity and the panoramic views of Belfast city from the front Lawns are amazing! You can enjoy the evening exploring this beautiful city for dining and drinks before retiring to your hotel.

Day 14

Travel to Dublin

Our travels today take us south towards Dublin for your final night before bidding adieu to the Emerald Isle. First this morning, we could head for Castle Ward, a wonderful castle with a history of its own, but more famous recently for the location for the filming of the “Winterfell” scenes in the blockbuster TV show “Game Of Thrones”. Our next stop as we head south could be Newgrange – a pre-historic burial ground, thought to date as much as 1000 years before the great pyramids of Egypt!

Day 15

On day 15, Depending on flight times today, we can visit some attractions such as Trinity College, Book Of Kells, St Patricks Cathedral, Dublin Castle, or the Guinness Storehouse before Transfer to your Airport (or hotel.)
