Day 1 – Arrive in Dublin and Explore Ireland’s Capital
Your private Ireland tour begins with collection from Dublin Airport or your preferred Dublin hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, your first day can include a visit to Malahide Castle and Gardens, followed by a panoramic introduction to Dublin.
If time permits, you may also visit Kilmainham Gaol or the Guinness Storehouse.
The aim is to keep your first day flexible, particularly if you have travelled overnight from the United States.

Day 2 – Dublin to Cork via the Heart of Ireland
Leave Dublin and begin your journey south.
Your first stop is the National Stud and Japanese Gardens, a fascinating combination of Irish horse-breeding heritage and beautifully designed gardens.
Continue towards the Rock of Cashel, one of Ireland’s most spectacular historic sites, before travelling onwards to Blarney Castle.
Here you can explore the castle grounds and, if you wish, kiss the famous Blarney Stone.
Continue to Cork for your two-night stay.

Day 3 – Cork, Cobh and Midleton
Spend today exploring Cork and its surrounding area.
Begin with a panoramic tour of Cork city, with possible visits to St Fin Barre’s Cathedral, the English Market and Cork’s historic centre.
Continue to Cobh, formerly known as Queenstown and one of the most important departure points for Irish emigrants.
The Cobh Heritage Centre provides an opportunity to learn more about Irish emigration and the area’s connection with the Titanic.
A visit to St Colman’s Cathedral provides one of the area’s most impressive views.
Continue to Midleton, where you can visit the Jameson Distillery experience if that is of interest to you.
Return to Cork for the evening.

Day 4 – Cork to Killarney via West Cork and the Beara Peninsula
Today is a spectacular scenic journey through West Cork.
Begin with Kinsale, one of Ireland’s best-known historic harbour towns, before continuing towards the Old Head of Kinsale.
Travel onwards to Glengarriff, at the entrance to the Beara Peninsula. Depending on conditions and your interests, there may be an opportunity to visit Garnish Island.
Continue through the mountains, with the option of travelling across the spectacular Healy Pass.
The journey continues to Kenmare before arriving in Killarney.

Day 5 – “Highlights” of The Ring of Kerry
Today is dedicated to one of Ireland’s great scenic touring routes: the Ring of Kerry.

From here, travel into Dingle, one of Ireland’s most atmospheric coastal towns.

Continue towards Bunratty, where you can visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park.
The journey then continues towards one of Ireland’s most famous natural attractions: the Cliffs of Moher.
Walk along the cliffs, take in the Atlantic views and enjoy one of the defining landscapes of western Ireland.
Continue along the coast towards Galway.

Day 8 – Connemara and Kylemore Abbey
Today you explore Connemara, a region famous for mountains, lakes, valleys, stone walls and rugged Atlantic scenery.
Begin with a panoramic introduction to Galway before travelling into Connemara.
Possible stops include the Quiet Man Bridge, Roundstone, Ballyconneelly and Mannin Bay.
Continue to Clifden for lunch before visiting Kylemore Abbey and Gardens.
The return journey takes you through the spectacular Inagh Valley before returning to Galway.

Day 9 – Galway to Donegal Along the Wild Atlantic Way
Today the journey continues north.
Possible stops include Glencar Waterfall and Drumcliffe, where the poet W.B. Yeats is buried.
Continue to Mullaghmore, one of the most spectacular coastal locations in northwest Ireland, with views towards Classiebawn Castle.

Continue to Donegal town.

Day 10 – Donegal and Slieve League
Today is dedicated to Donegal’s spectacular coastline.
Begin with Donegal Castle before travelling northwest through some of Ireland’s most dramatic coastal scenery.
Continue towards Slieve League, home to some of Europe’s highest accessible sea cliffs and one of the great viewpoints on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Continue through the Glencolmcille area before returning to Donegal.
This is a day for scenery, photography and discovering a less-visited part of Ireland.
Overnight: Donegal
Day 11 – Glenveagh, Inishowen and Malin Head
Leave Donegal and travel north.
A possible morning visit is Glenveagh National Park and Castle, surrounded by some of Donegal’s most beautiful mountain scenery.
Continue through the Inishowen Peninsula towards Malin Head, the northernmost point of the island of Ireland and the northern endpoint of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Continue towards Derry for your overnight stay.

Day 12 – Giant’s Causeway and the North Antrim Coast
Today brings you to one of Northern Ireland’s most famous attractions: the Giant’s Causeway.
Travel towards the coast with a possible stop at Dunluce Castle.
Continue to Bushmills, where you can visit the famous distillery if it interests you.
Then explore the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its remarkable hexagonal basalt columns.
Continue along the spectacular North Antrim Coastal Route before arriving in Belfast.

Day 13 – Discover Belfast
Spend today exploring Belfast.
