Our First stop today can be a quick photo stop at Dun Guaire Castle in the beautiful seaside town of Kinvarra.

Then it’s a visit to Hazel Mountain Chocolatier – a unique experience with a tour of a chocolate factory and the option of a coffee break at their wonderful café.

From here it’s on into the quaint little town of Ballyvaughan where we take the coastal route by Black Head and Fanore Beach. We can stop and view the amazing Lunar-like landscape of the Burren on the way to the famous town of Doolin – famed for its traditional Irish music.

It’s a short drive to today’s highlight – the world-famous Cliffs Of Moher.

After the Cliffs, we can visit Poulnabrone Dolmen (the “Hole Of Sorrows”) a wonderful example of an early Neolithic burial site dating to over five thousand years old – a full one thousand years older than the Great Pyramids at Giza!

After this, it’s time to return to Galway to end a wonderful day’s touring.
